Rules/recommendations for authors

When preparing a manuscript for publication in the Journal you must strictly comply with editorial requirements and follow the ethical principles of the Editor.

It is necessary to pay attention to the submission of a complete set of materials:

An agreement with the author is mandatory. It confirms the author’s agreement with the terms of publications in the Journal.

The manuscript of an article is submitted in electronic format (doc, docx, rtf). The name of the file indicates the surname of the author (if there are co-authors — the surname of the first author or the corresponding author). Font — Calibri, size — 12. alignment — text width, spacing —single, paragraph — 1.25, margins: top and bottom — 2 cm, left — 3 cm, right — 1 cm.

The illustrative material (photos, drawings, maps, tables, diagrams, etc.) each must be presented both in text and in a separate file in GPEG or TIFF format, 300 dpi. Captions for illustrations must be in 3 languages indicating copyright/place of storage of the original/photographer/artist. Note: photographs, drawings, maps, tables, diagrams must be presented in the form that can be formatted. The number of illustrations should not exceed 20% of the volume of the presented article.

Requirements for the constituent elements of an article:

  • - MRNTI (Interstate rubricator of scientific and technical information).
  • - Title of the article (centred in capital letters, bold font), in the language of the article.
  • - Initials and surname of the author in the language of the article. Note: the corresponding author is indicated by the sign «*».
  • - Place of work (study), city, country (in the language of the article).
  • - e-mail address of each author.
  • - Abstract in Kazakh, English, Russian from 150 to 300 words or 1500 – 2000 characters with spaces.
  • - Keywords/phrase (no more than 10 words/phrase) intended for searching the text of the article and determining its subject area (in three languages).
  • - The text of an article is structured according to IMRAD (Introduction, Methods and materials, Results, Discussion, Conclusions); all structural elements are highlighted in bold.
  • - The sources used in the text are drawn up with continuous numbering in square brackets surname year: pages, for example: [Bimendiev 2016: 47–71; Oskenbay 2010: 127].
  • - Information on financing (if available).
  • - Bibliography (of sources used) is given in alphabetical order.
  • - A hyperlink to an electronic resource is provided indicating the date of access. The use of automatic pagination links is not permitted.
  • - References — the transliteration of the sources is carried out in the translit- online program. Note: non-English sources must be translated into English
  • - The volume of an article is 15000 – 80000 characters with spaces (excluding MRNTI, title, information about the authors, abstract, keyboards, and list of sources used.

All materials must be carefully formatted according to requirements and edited. If necessary, the Editor has the right to make abbreviations and edits without the consent of the authors of the manuscript.
